One line of travertine, lit from the inside
The Anzio is a cylinder of travertine, 4 cm across and 28 cm long, hung on a thin dark cord. The light sits inside the tube and spills from the open lower end, so what you see is the travertine itself catching the glow: the pitting, the horizontal grain, the variation from one piece to the next. No shade, no diffuser, no hardware on show.
At 4 cm wide it takes up almost no visual space, which is what makes it work in a row. Three along a kitchen island, a pair either side of a bed, or one on its own over a corner table. The cord is 180 cm and adjustable, so you set the drop rather than accept it.
Choose the single pendant for one tube on its own ceiling fitting, or the twin for two tubes hung from one 10 cm ceiling plate. The twin covers a wider span from a single ceiling point, which is the easier option where there is only one fixing to work with.
No two pieces are identical. The grain, the colour and the pattern of pitting change from one to the next, and that is the point of the material rather than a fault in it.

It can be replaced rather than being sealed into the fitting, which is the difference between a lamp you keep and one you throw away when the light goes. Choose warm white 3000K or neutral white 4000K above. The twin takes one bulb per tube and is supplied with both.
The tube is the same in both: 4 cm across and 28 cm long. The single hangs one tube from its own ceiling fitting. The twin hangs two tubes from one ceiling plate measuring 10 cm by 2.5 cm, so you cover a wider span from a single ceiling point. Both come on a 180 cm cord that can be shortened to any drop during installation, though it cannot be made longer, so measure from the ceiling to where you want the bottom of the tube to sit.
The shape and the size will. The grain will not. Colour, veining and pitting vary from one piece to the next, so the tube you receive will not be an exact match for the photograph.
