A half round of stone that paints the wall with light
A solid half moon of natural stone, cut, ground and polished, with the light hidden inside it. It sits just 5 cm off the wall, so the whole effect is on the plaster: a soft fan of warm light rising above it, or falling below it if you mount it the other way up.
At 20 cm wide and 13 cm tall it is a quiet piece on its own above a bedside table or a console, and it works in pairs either side of a bed or in a run up a staircase. The stone is pale and creamy with open pits and the odd rust coloured fleck, the marks of a natural material.
Because it is cut from natural stone, the pattern of pits and flecks differs from one light to the next.
